Even when I went to college and moved downtown I have always come back here every 6 months for my cleaning because they really do treat you like family. The staff is always wanting to know what's going on in my life, and they remember from visit to visit. Dr. Raihle has notes in my file from stuff I did in high school. Elizabeth always says hi when I walk in and wants to know how my family is. Icee is always full of nice compliments.  Where do I start??

I had been getting dental care else where and was dissatisfied with the work performed down the road. It took me nearly a year to locate another office. I don't know about you but the dentist is not my favorite. I located this office with a google search. Upon calling the receptionist was beyond pleasant and making an appointment was very simple. When I got to my appointment I was greeted will smiles and warm welcomes from the staff. The office atmosphere was very warm and home like, very comfortable seating in the lobby. I was explained my insurance coverage which was  to my surprise. Before going into the exam room the Doctor came out and greeted me by name and welcomed me to the practice. The hygienist was super nice and informative. Through the entire cleaning she explained thoroughly what she was doing and why. Soon after Dr. Raihle came in and did a full overview of everything. He is very nice and down to earth. I have never experienced this with a dentist before. Then about a week later I received a hand written card in the mail from Dr. Raihlel welcoming me again which was a really nice touch. I look forward to getting my teeth back in tip top shape with this practice as this seem like it is a very good choice.

Dr. Raihle is the only doctor I've ever known who takes a real interest in getting to know his patients and caring for them.  He has a warm and caring manner which puts patients at ease.  As a University of Chicago graduate, he is very well-educated but never puts on any airs - he is down-to-earth and a regular guy.

Putting yourself in the hands of Dr. Raihle means you will receive only the best dental care.  Should you require any additional surgical work, Dr. Raihle calls you at home to check up on you and see how you are doing.  He also is very careful with patients - asking about your comfort level, whether or not you feel any pain, etc.  It's the most pleasant visit you'll ever have at a dentist's office.

Recently, I had an appointment for a cleaning, and the regular hygienist was not available; so, Dr. Raihle did the cleaning for me, and he was very gentle - yet thorough.  So, rest assured - you're in good hands.

Having four children, Dr. Raihle is also no stranger to working with children either - big or small - they all like him.  

The staff is also excellent - Liz, his dental assistant, is his right-hand.  She too is equally skilled at caring for patients - ensuring their comfort and putting them at ease.  They work great together as a team, and I always enjoy visiting with both of them!

   Dr. Kevin Raihle and his staff are vibrant, friendly and exceptionally competent.  I first visited their office to get a second opinion on what I thought was a a lot of dental intervention for a small dental issue.   I did not inform Dr. Raihle that I was concerned, just asked for a recommendation.  His far more conservative (and a fraction of the cost) intervention not only sounded more appropriate, but the years since have vindicated my judgment.

The staff is wonderful with children (Kevin has 4 small kids of his own), really gets to know the patients, and offers flexible hours.  The dentist does not do the cleanings, but I've always preferred a good hygienist to do those--no interruptions and time can be taken.  I've never waited for my appointment nor feel rushed out.

This was my first time at A Brilliant Smile and I was there for my bi-annual cleaning and exam. Both Dr. Raihle an his dental hygienist, Icy (not sure of the spelling of her name), were very thorough and personable. They dedicated more than an hour to properly examine me and do the cleaning. Dr. Raihle and Icy explained all of their findings to me and what protocol of care I should follow. I actually have a follow up appointment scheduled in two weeks to see how this new protocol of care is working for me and to have a consultation with Dr. Raihle on next steps to address a couple of issues he found. The office is also extremely clean, bright, and they even have exam chairs that give you a little back massage while you are laying in them. Overall, a very positive experience. So glad I found them, especially after having the worst luck with two different dental practices I tried since moving to the Chicago area 4 years ago.

 I went to these guys about 5 years ago before I moved out of state and loved everything about them from their immaculate office to their responsive & friendly staff to their level of transparency and skilled & professional dentistry. Moving back I attempted to see another dentist closer to my place in downtown Chicago but had a very one star experience like I've had with other dental experiences earlier in my life. I knew I had to call A Brilliant Smile again and just make the journey out to Oak Park (which was only 20 min by uber from downtown or if you hop on the green line and take it straight to Harlem & Lake it's really not that bad at all plus the area is super cute with restaurants and shopping). My experience was stellar! Easy, no fuss, got the services I needed, insurance was a breeze, and now actually excited to go back to the dentist! I'm trying to get my coworkers to come see them and just highly recommend them to anybody needing a really great dentist

 I had my first appointment the other week, since the COVID-19 shutdown. The staff in my opinion did very well taking extra precautions to maintain a sanitary and safe environment. I was asked to wait in my car until they were ready, then when they were ready for me, my temperature was taken upon arrival to the office. The receptionist had a face mask along with a face shield and the dentist along with his assistant followed suit with this attire, and had me do a hydrogen peroxide/water rinse before having some work done. For a while I hopped around trying to find a dentist whom I could trust and be comfortable with. Then i found "A Brilliant Smile". What i appreciate the most about Dr. Raihle is the fact that he does not pressure me into acting on his diagnosis or recommendations. As an example, he does not pounce on my panic button or scramble for his dental drill at the first inclination that a tooth shows "some initial indication" that it might develop into problematic cavity. Instead, he always offers guidance and steers me towards recommendations which be feels should be prioritized. For me, this is important and assures me that Dr. Raihle understands the patient side of the equation -and does not just view my mouth as a cash register.
Overall a great dental office. The entire staff is always super warm and friendly. And the fact that they offer Saturday appointments is awesome -although i am not so sure I would find it so awesome every Saturday if I was "Mrs Raihle". :-)

Even when I went to college and moved downtown I have always come back here every 6 months for my cleaning because they really do treat you like family. Amber & Edith up front we’re very helpful with the admission, insurance & payment processes, and my hygienist Icee was exceptional. Just the right amount of small talk, very professional and knowledgeable, and she was nice & gentle while she did her work. Dr. Raihle came in after the cleaning and discussed my dental status, patiently answering any questions and addressing any concerns. On top of all of this great service, the office itself is immaculate and stylishly decorated.  I had my first visit with Dr. Raille’s office last weekend. My hat is off to the incredible job he and his staff have done to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for patients. The staff is knowledgeable, and the facilities seem to be cutting edge. The office is small but amazingly efficient in terms of floor space planning.  I have broken teeth in my current partials because my bite isn’t even and the current partials are not effective in correcting it. I was referred to A Brilliant Smile. They took a series of photos and X-rays for the Dr. He looked things over then gave my some possible solutions, but wanted more time to come up with the best options. The second visit brought the best options with the high and low end of cost, both with the results of leveling my bite so the partials will last much longer. Since I work with the purpose to give my best quality work, I look for this type of attitude where ever I do business and I’ve found that same attitude here at A Brilliant Smile. Yea !

 First off the staff is super helpful as soon as you walk in you’re greeted in a way where it feels like home. The Doctors are thorough and tell you in layman’s terms everything you need to know ,which is definitely refreshing. I went in for a few cleaning and didn’t feel ANYTHING during or afterwards. The procedure was pretty fast and They also work with your schedule to ensure you come in when it’s good for you as well as your mouth.

 Dr. Raihle is married with four children. His oldest is in high school. I started seeing him prior to his marriage. Many years ago, he moved his practice to Oak Park. I travel a minimum of an hour and half for my care. The trip nearly kills me, but I don't even consider changing dentists. Dr Raihle is a wonderful dentist and a great guy. His staff is exceptional. They are competent and very nice. Cannot say enough nice things about A BRILLIANT SMILE!
